Dana Rodriguez, PhD, PNP was born and raised in Wisconsin. She first attended the University of Wisconsin La-Crosse where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Spanish. From there she felt a calling to serve others, especially children, so she returned to school and earned her master’s of science in nursing degree in 2006 from Marquette University of Milwaukee and became a certified pediatric nurse practitioner. She later went on to earn her PhD in nursing from Marquette University where she served as a research assistant for the Institute of Natural Family Planning and studied the Marquette Method. She has been a clinical instructor for Marquette University as well as an adjunct professor for University of Phoenix. Dana worked in private practice as a pediatric nurse practitioner for several years and then started Padre Pio Clinic, a school-based health clinic at St. Anthony School of Milwaukee. She and her family moved to Arizona in 2016 and she worked in Maricopa and Casa Grande at a rural community health center. She then spent the past few years as the sole provider at Morning Star Pediatrics. She is passionate about partnering with parents to meet the healthcare needs of their children. She and her husband have two teenage children. She enjoys cooking, hiking, travel and spending time with loved ones.
