Jennifer Sorg is a board certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. Jennifer moved to Arizona in September 2020, but she grew up in a small town in Indiana wherein the town was actually named after her family’s surname since her family inhabited most of the area (it really isn’t too different from that now!). Joining the Army in 2003 broadened her sense of the world and filled her with a passion for healthcare. During that time, she trained as a medic and deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan. Throughout nursing school, her devotion for psychiatry was uncovered. She has experience working as a nurse in the areas of addiction, geriatric psychiatry, rehab, long term health care, and case management. As a psychiatric NP, she has worked with the underserved population, both kids and adults and with the military population as she was mobilized in 2018 as a Psych NP to Fort Bragg, NC. She has worked with pediatric patients since 2016 with a focus on ADD/ADHD and trauma symptoms. Jennifer currently resides with her husband, mother, 4 children, and her shih tzu, Mufasa. She is so happy to be in the warmer climate of Arizona, as she enjoys hiking, swimming, biking, and spending time with friends and family.
