Scott Grant, MD, MPH, FAAP is a Dual Board-Certified Pediatrician and Hospitalist who joins our practice after relocating from Michigan with his family — his wife and three young children! Dr. Grant grew up in Dallas, TX, and completed his Undergraduate Bachelor’s degree at the University of North Texas. He attended Texas Tech Paul Foster SOM in El Paso, TX for Medical School and simultaneously received his Masters of Public Health through the University of Texas at Houston. He then completed his pediatrics residency at Phoenix Children’s Hospital from 2013-2016 and was Chief Resident at PCH from 2016-2017.

For the past six years, Dr. Grant has worked at Children’s Hospital of Michigan in Detroit, MI where he has cared for children in the clinic and the hospital settings and taught residents and medical students. During this time, he has given invited Grand Rounds and Lectures focused on Trauma-Informed Care and Overcoming Adversity. He has served on State and National Committees for the American Academy of Pediatrics. He is a Member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society, the Gold Humanism Honor Society, and the Catholic Medical Association.

He is very excited to return to Phoenix and live out his childhood dream of being a community pediatrician. He believes that the role of a pediatrician is to partner with parents to help them make the best health decisions for their children and create a fulfilling family life. He is passionate about ensuring that fathers are included in family health conversations and feel confident and competent to care for their children and advocate for their well-being.

In his spare time, he loves being outdoors with his family, running, and most sports – particularly Texas Rangers baseball, European Soccer, and all things University of Oklahoma (Boomer Sooner!!)
