Taryne Scott, DNP, PNP is a board-certified pediatric nurse practitioner. She earned her bachelor’s in nursing from California State University of Long Beach in 2009. Her background includes working as a labor and delivery registered nurse for ten years and four years as an emergency trauma nurse in California, Washington, and at Chandler Regional Medical Center in Arizona. She moved to Arizona to be closer to her family and earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Arizona State University, graduating Summa Cum Laude in 2023. Her doctoral project was focused on helping first-time breastfeeding mothers reach their goals during the baby’s first month of life. Taryne is involved in the pediatric community by serving on the Arizona National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners (NAPNAP) chapter. She spends her free time with her husband and two boys cooking/baking, swimming, or doing anything Disney (yes, she is a huge Disney nerd).
